This time around, I want to give my thoughts on the past and upcoming WWE draft, featuring stars from all three brands. First off, I hope they don't do the random computer picks like they did last time, cause that was stupid. There was nothing more surprising than when John Cena's music played as the number one draft pick to come to RAW a few years back. Of course the worst draft moment was when HHH was drafted to Smackdown, only to stay on RAW in a behind the scenes trade for like five guys. STUPID!
As far as this year's draft goes, I hope Cena stays on RAW, because the franchise player belongs on the franchise show. I think HHH moving to Smackdown would be a great move to pump up that show - but it will never happen! I have a feeling that Undertaker will end up on RAW, and I don't know why, but somehow Jeff Hardy will be on ECW, which would give the show a needed boost, but be a personal demotion for Hardy. I'm not even sure what show CM Punk is officially on, but he should be on RAW. Actually, with ECW and RAW taping on the same night, it wouldn't matter what show he was on, because they crossover talent. Edge is solid on Smackdown, but Batista would be a good pick for ECW to liven things up there. Shawn could go the Smackdown and wouldn't lose any steam. Big Show should be on the "big show." Move Colin to Smackdown to give him some wider exposure, because if they do it right, his gimmick could get over huge in my opinion. Move all the 2nd generation wrestlers to RAW (DiBiase Jr., Smith, and Cody are already there.) Move Nattie over with them and make either Orton or Carlito as the leader/mouthpiece. If Reid Flair ever shows up to camp for training, he could eventually join them as well. Jesse and Festus would fit well in ECW, and Matt hardy deserves to be on the "A" show, Monday Night RAW.
What ever happens, PLEASE don't bring Mike Adamle to RAW for any reason!
Coming up just around the corner is NWA Upstate WarGames, featuring five Upstate guys vs. five 2CW wrestlers. I will be there to call the action with the Upstate broadcasters, and Bob Foley will be ring announcing our guys. It should make for a very interesting night!
In closing, please write to 2CW.com and let everyone know that you want "Bombshell" Billy Fredricks as your new 2CW Commissioner. Together we can make a difference!
